Merb Core: All you need. None you don't.

Merb-core is a dead Ruby web framework from 2008, notable historically for its thread-safety and modular design philosophy. It merged into the Rails mainline (contributing to Rails 3's architecture) and has no practical use today. This repo is a redirect stub with a one-line README.

Its design principles around thread-safety and modularity influenced Rails 3 significantly; the 'nothing you don't need' ethos was ahead of its time for Ruby frameworks; it proved that an alternative to Rails could push the ecosystem forward.

Abandoned since 2008 with no code in this repo — just a README pointing elsewhere; the merge target itself is also ancient history; zero documentation, tests, or anything actionable here; adopting this for anything would be absurd.
