// the take
A script that spams fake view counts onto TikTok videos by hitting TikTok's internal APIs directly instead of driving a browser. It's aimed at people who want to fake engagement numbers on their own or someone else's videos, not at developers trying to learn anything about TikTok's platform.
Skipping Selenium for raw requests (via tls_client to spoof TLS fingerprints) means it runs fast and without a browser or display, which is the one legitimately interesting technical choice here. The zefoy/ folder shows it piggybacks on the reverse-engineered zefoy.com endpoints rather than reimplementing that work from scratch.
This is a fraud tool: it exists to falsify engagement metrics, which violates TikTok's terms of service and can get the target account banned or legally flagged depending on jurisdiction and intent. The README itself says 'this will be updated very soon, join channel to get it early,' which is a funnel to a Telegram channel, not documentation. The repo is littered with abandoned old/v1, v2, v3 rewrites and stray .pyc files, and the current main script has no handling for TikTok rotating its API or anti-bot measures, which is exactly what will break it next. There's no test suite, no error handling shown in the README, and the actual working code is whatever's left after TikTok's countermeasures catch up — view bots like this have a short shelf life by design.
