Front End interview preparation materials for busy engineers (updated for 2026)

A large, well-known collection of front-end interview prep material covering JS, CSS, HTML trivia, front-end system design, and company-specific question lists. It's aimed at engineers prepping for front-end-specific interviews, which lean more on domain trivia and system design than algorithms.

Content is broken out by topic and by company (Google, Meta, Amazon, etc.) as separate markdown files, so you can jump straight to what you need instead of scrolling one giant doc. It's actively maintained (pushed within the last two months) and translated into eight-plus languages, which is unusual staying power for a repo this old. The system design section in particular covers patterns (news feed, autocomplete, image carousel) that most algorithm-focused interview repos skip entirely.

The README is mostly a funnel to the author's paid GreatFrontEnd product — actual interview questions with graded solutions live behind that paywall, not in this repo. What's left here is markdown trivia with no runnable code, no test harness, and no way to check your own answers, so it's reading material rather than practice. The build tooling (Docusaurus site, pnpm workspace) is overkill if all you want is the markdown; you're pulling in a whole static site generator to read a handful of files.
