A thin Python wrapper around Suno.ai's private web API, reverse-engineered from browser network requests, for generating AI songs programmatically instead of through the web UI. It's for people who want to batch-generate Suno songs via script or build it into another tool, and are fine with the fragility that comes with an unofficial API.
The API surface is small and sane — SongsGen with save_songs, get_limit_left, get_song_library covers the practical use cases without over-abstracting. Custom mode (your own lyrics plus tags) is exposed directly, which the official product gates behind the UI. It's packaged and published to PyPI (suno_songs), so it's a pip install away rather than a clone-and-pray.
Auth is a manually copy-pasted Clerk cookie from DevTools — there's no login flow, no refresh handling, and cookies expire, so this breaks for every user periodically with zero guidance beyond 'go inspect XHR again.' Last push was August 2024, over a year stale, against a product (Suno's internal API) that has no reason to keep a stable contract for reverse-engineered clients — likely already broken or close to it. No tests beyond a CI badge, and no error handling visible for the obvious failure modes (expired cookie, rate limit hit, API shape changes). Depending on this for anything real means you're one Suno deploy away from a silent break with no upstream fix coming.
