// the take
A Spanish-language video/written course teaching Kotlin Multiplatform with Compose, built as a series of small standalone projects (hello world, navigation, persistence, expect/actual, Ktor networking) rather than one codebase. It's for Spanish-speaking developers who already know Kotlin and want a guided, example-by-example path into shipping KMP apps across Android, iOS, desktop and web.
Each lesson is a complete, independently buildable KMP project with its own gradle wrapper and Xcode iosApp folder, so you can clone just one subfolder and run it instead of untangling a monorepo. The topic progression hits the parts of KMP that actually cause pain in practice — navigation with Voyager, bottom bar navigation, local persistence, the expect/actual mechanism, and Ktor for networking. Code is backed by matching written tutorials on cursokotlin.com and a Discord channel for questions, so it's not just code with no explanation attached.
Everything is Spanish only, with no English docs or subtitles, which caps who this is useful for. Last push was mid-2024 with only 7 lessons published, and KMP/Compose Multiplatform tooling moves fast enough that the gradle and library versions in libs.versions.toml are probably already behind current stable. It's a teaching repo, not a library: there's no shared module to depend on, and each example reimplements the same boilerplate (MainActivity, Platform.kt, iosApp scaffolding) rather than building on a common base. None of the sample projects include tests, so the course never shows how to actually test shared KMP code, which is one of the trickier things to get right in this ecosystem.
