Blazored/Toast
A JavaScript free toast library for Blazor and Razor Component applications
Blazored.Toast gives you Blazor toast notifications (info/success/warning/error, plus arbitrary custom components) rendered entirely in Razor, with zero JS interop. It's aimed at Blazor Server/WASM/Interactive Server devs who want toast popups without wiring up a JS library and bridging it across the interop boundary.
No JS dependency at all — toasts are plain Razor components, which sidesteps the usual Blazor+JS-interop headaches around prerendering and circuit reconnects. ShowToast<T> lets you render an arbitrary custom component inside a toast with typed parameters via ToastParameters, not just strings — that's a step above most toast libs. It ships a dedicated bUnit TestExtensions package with an InMemoryToastService, so you can actually assert on toasts fired from a component under test, which most UI libraries don't bother with. Config surface is decent: position, timeout, max toast count, progress bar, custom close button content, per-call ToastInstanceSettings overrides.
Last commit is May 2024 — over a year with no activity, so don't count on quick fixes if something breaks on a newer .NET/Blazor release. CSS isolation is the default styling mechanism; if your app doesn't use isolated CSS you're manually linking the generated bundle, and there's no documented theming story beyond overriding CSS classes per toast type. No mention anywhere of ARIA roles or live regions for toasts, which matters for any app that cares about accessibility. At 693 stars/107 forks it's a small, single-maintainer-feeling project — check the issue tracker for unresolved bugs before betting production UX on it.
