Highly customizable jquery plugin to show toast messages

A jQuery plugin for showing toast/growl-style notifications with configurable position, color, transitions, and stacking. It's for anyone still maintaining a jQuery-based frontend who needs notifications without pulling in a bigger UI framework.

Zero-dependency beyond jQuery itself, so the payload is tiny compared to something like Toastr or a full component library. The API covers the practical cases well: text, HTML, or array content, four lifecycle hooks (beforeShow/afterShown/beforeHide/afterHidden), and an update()/reset() pair for mutating a toast already on screen instead of tearing it down and recreating it.

Last push was August 2022 and it's a single maintainer project with no CHANGELOG or recent commit activity, so treat it as frozen. It requires jQuery, which is a non-starter if you're on a modern build without it already in the bundle. Positioning accepts an arbitrary object but there's no documented handling for RTL layouts or accessibility (no aria-live region mentioned in the README, so screen readers won't announce toasts). No TypeScript types shipped, and the demo/docs link points to a personal site (kamranahmed.info) rather than anything versioned in the repo, so if that goes down you're reading the minified source to learn the options.
