Eliaz-deb/admin_dashboard
A toy CLI admin dashboard in C that simulates login, user management, and server status checks. It's a beginner learning project for practicing string handling and control flow, not something meant to run anywhere near real infrastructure.
- Simple, single-file structure makes it easy to read top to bottom in a few minutes
- Reasonable use case for practicing switch/while control flow and strcmp-based input handling in C
- Scope is honest about itself as a learning exercise rather than pretending to be production software
- Hardcoded admin/admin credentials baked into source, which is a bad habit to practice even in a toy project
- No input bounds checking visible anywhere, and C string handling without it is exactly how buffer overflows happen
- Everything is mocked (users, IP bans, server status) with no persistence, so there's no real logic being exercised beyond printing menus
- Zero tests, zero error handling for malformed input, and a single 0-star, unforked repo with no outside usage to validate it works as described
