A small EJS-templated todo app in Node that exists mainly as a teaching vehicle for CI/CD pipelines. It ships with Jenkins, Azure Pipelines, Docker Compose, Kubernetes manifests, Kustomize overlays and Terraform, so you can see several deployment paths against one codebase. Useful if you want a reference for wiring the pipeline, not for the app itself.

The same app is wired into Jenkins, Azure Pipelines, a DevSecOps Jenkinsfile with a sonar-project.properties, and a Dockerfile plus docker-compose.yaml, so the differences between the pipelines are easy to compare side by side. The Kubernetes setup covers raw manifests, a pod, a replica set and a service, and then a Kustomize base with dev and prd overlays, which shows the progression from plain YAML to templated config. The Terraform directory gives a concrete example of provisioning the target infrastructure rather than hand-waving it.

The README is four shell commands and says nothing about what the pipelines expect, which secrets they need, or what order to run anything in. The app is a bare CRUD todo with no tests of substance beyond a single test.js, so the pipelines have very little real signal to gate on. Last push was February 2025 and the Node and npm install steps are apt-based, which won't match a current Node LTS and will drift further from current practice. Expect to spend time fixing version pins and credentials before any of the pipelines run end to end.
