godoc chm pdf
A single CHM-format offline manual for Go, packaged by astaxie (of beego fame) back in 2012. It's not a library or tool — it's a downloadable help file, the kind Windows devs used before everyone just used the web.
The CHM format gives searchable, indexed offline docs with clickable function-to-source navigation, which was genuinely useful before godoc.org and pkg.go.dev existed. Small, self-contained download with no dependencies to install.
Last real update was 2012 — it predates Go 1.0's final release and modules entirely, so the content is describing a language that no longer exists in its current form. No source repo for the docs themselves, just a binary .chm file checked into git, so you can't diff, PR, or verify what's in it without a Windows CHM viewer. Completely superseded by pkg.go.dev and `go doc`, which are always current and don't require downloading anything.
