A minimal Next.js 12 starter wired for one-click Netlify deployment. It has been abandoned in favor of the official netlify-templates organization repo, so this is essentially a redirect with some old code attached.
The netlify.toml and Essential Next.js Build Plugin setup is pre-configured, so SSR and ISR work on Netlify without manual configuration. Absolute import aliases via jsconfig.json are set up out of the box, which saves a common early-project headache. The footprint is small enough that you can actually read the whole thing in five minutes.
This repo is dead — the README itself tells you to go somewhere else, and the last commit was 2023. Next.js 12 is ancient at this point; App Router, Server Components, and the current Netlify plugin are all missing. The 402 stars represent historical traffic, not ongoing relevance. Cloning this by mistake means starting with outdated patterns that Next.js has since deprecated.
