Demos the new Android Design library.
A small Android sample app from 2014-era Google demonstrating the Design Support Library — collapsing toolbar, FloatingActionButton, NavigationView, Snackbar. Useful only as a historical reference for developers curious how these patterns looked before Jetpack and Material Components existed.
Small, readable codebase (four Kotlin files) that isolates each Design Library widget cleanly instead of burying them in a bigger app. Good if you want to see the minimal wiring for a CollapsingToolbarLayout or FAB without unrelated app logic in the way.
Dead project — last push was 2020, and the actual patterns it demonstrates date to 2014-2015 pre-AndroidX support library APIs that Google has since deprecated and replaced with Material Components. Build prerequisites (Android SDK v22, Build Tools v22.0.1, Support Repository r16) won't even resolve in a current Android Studio install without heavy workarounds. Anyone adopting this as a starting point today would immediately need to migrate everything to androidx.* and swap Snackbar/FAB usage for the modern Material library equivalents, making the sample actively misleading rather than just outdated.
