My homepage
A personal portfolio/homepage built with Next.js, Chakra UI, and Three.js — includes a blog index, a works/projects showcase, and a wallpaper gallery with a 3D voxel dog model on the landing page. It's aimed at developers who want a polished personal site reference, less so a generic starter template.
The Three.js integration is the actual reason to look at this repo — lib/model.js plus voxel-dog.js/voxel-dog-loader.js show a clean pattern for lazy-loading a GLB model with a loading fallback instead of blocking the page render. The Chakra UI dark/light theme toggle (lib/theme.js, theme-toggle-button.js) is a tidy, copyable example of theme switching done right with SSR-safe hydration. Project structure is flat and easy to read — pages/components/lib split with no unnecessary abstraction for what is fundamentally a static-ish site.
Zero tests of any kind, so you're on your own if you refactor anything. It's plain JavaScript, not TypeScript — no type safety around the Three.js/Chakra prop boundaries where it would actually help. The content is deeply personal (specific blog posts, work case studies, the author's own images) rather than a scaffolded template, so adopting it means stripping out most of the repo before it's useful to you. The license is a trap for the unwary: MIT except you're barred from reusing the voxel dog model and required to link back to the author's homepage — easy to miss if you just fork and go.
