// the take
This is the first version of a personal portfolio site built with React and Material UI, now explicitly deprecated in favor of a v2 repo. It's a single-page portfolio with animated sections (fractal tree, particle portrait, 3D model) rather than a reusable tool or library.
The mix of Three.js and canvas-based particle/fractal effects for a portfolio hero section is a decent reference if you want ideas for animated intro sections. The color palette and fade-in-on-scroll pattern (FadeInSection) are simple, copyable pieces for your own site.
The author has already deprecated it and points everyone to Gazi-V2, so there's no reason to build on this version. It's someone's personal site, not a template or library — no configuration layer, no docs on how to adapt the components to your own content, and the component names (About, Experience, JobList) are hardcoded to one person's résumé. Dependencies are years out of date (CRA-era react-scripts, old Material UI) with no maintenance activity expected on a repo the author calls old.
