🇧🇷 A collection of amazing open source projects built by brazilian developers

A community-maintained list of open-source projects built by Brazilian developers, organized by programming language. It doubles as a showcase of the Brazilian dev community's output and a discovery tool for projects you might not find through normal trending channels.

Genuinely broad language coverage — C, C++, C#, Clojure, Delphi, Elixir, Go, Rust, TypeScript and more, not just the usual JavaScript monoculture. Contains a few legitimately significant projects (htop, Elixir itself, goreleaser, Dracula Theme) that have real production footprints, giving the list credibility. Organization by language makes it actually navigable rather than a flat blob. Active enough to have had a push last month in 2026.

No quality bar — 'beginner friendly algorithm collection' sits next to htop and Elixir with equal weight. The star counts embedded in the README are hardcoded badge URLs pointing to wrong repos in several places (the anonydog entry shows insidegui/WWDC stars), so the metadata is unreliable. With 1799 stars and 138 forks this is a small list for the awesome-list genre, meaning coverage is thin in most languages. No descriptions of what makes a project worth including or how it was vetted.
