Source code related to the Next.js 15 tutorial series on YouTube
This is the companion source code for a YouTube tutorial series on Next.js 15's App Router, split into a dozen standalone demo apps — routing (including parallel and intercepting routes), data fetching, caching/revalidation, auth with Clerk, and route handlers. It's for developers learning the App Router feature by feature, not a library or starter template you'd build on.
Actually covers the parts of the App Router most tutorials skip — parallel routes, intercepting routes with the full (.)/(..)/( ...) convention set, and route handler versioning (v1/v2) are all here with working examples. Each topic is a fully isolated create-next-app project with its own package.json and tsconfig, so you can clone one folder and run it without pulling in the rest. The caching-revalidation and data-fetching demos use a real Prisma+SQLite backend alongside a fake JSON server, so you see both approaches side by side instead of just mocked data.
No root README explaining what maps to which video — you need to already know the episode title to find the right folder. Every demo re-commits its own package-lock.json, font binaries, and in one case a live prisma/app.db SQLite file, so the repo is far heavier than the actual teaching content. There are no tests anywhere in the tree. Last pushed December 2024 against early Next.js 15.0/15.1 — the caching-revalidation demos in particular are worth double-checking against current App Router semantics before copying patterns from them.
