Source code related to the React Formik tutorials on my YouTube channel

This is the companion code for a YouTube series on Formik, React's form library — two separate create-react-app projects (react-formik-demo and formik-controls-demo) that walk through basic fields up to building a reusable FormikControl abstraction for text, select, radio, checkbox, and date inputs. It's for someone following the videos step by step, not for pulling into a real project.

The FormikControl.js pattern is a genuinely useful reference for wiring up a single component that switches on field type and delegates to Input, Select, RadioButtons, CheckboxGroup, and DatePicker — that's the actual reusable idea worth stealing. Splitting into two progressively more complex demos (plain form first, then abstracted controls) makes it easy to diff the two states and see exactly what changed. TextError.js shows a clean pattern for using Formik's ErrorMessage with a render prop instead of manual touched/error checks everywhere.

Last commit is January 2023 and it's pinned to CRA and whatever Formik/Yup majors were current then, both of which have moved on since — expect peer dependency fights if you try to npm install today. There are no tests beyond the CRA-generated App.test.js boilerplate, so nothing here is verified beyond 'it ran in the video.' The 195 forks against 217 stars is the giveaway that this is watch-along code, not a library — there's no package boundary, no exported API, and no README beyond the CRA default, so you're expected to have the video open next to it.
