Kurrier is a modern, self-hosted workspace for email, calendar, contacts and storage.

Kurrier is a self-hosted workspace that puts email, CalDAV calendars, CardDAV contacts and WebDAV or S3 file storage behind one web UI, with a management API for provisioning users. It is aimed at people who already run their own mail provider and object store and want a single front end without handing their data to a hosted platform.

- It speaks existing protocols (IMAP, SMTP, CalDAV, CardDAV, WebDAV, OIDC), so desktop and phone clients can keep working against it instead of needing a proprietary sync layer.

- The repo is a real monorepo with separate apps for web, dav and docs, each with its own Dockerfile, plus changesets for versioning. The docs app has a page per mail backend (SES, SendGrid, Mailgun, Postmark, Gmail, JMAP, generic SMTP), which is where most of the integration effort lives.

- There is documentation for an extension system, including architecture, hooks and a guide to writing extensions, so forks can add behaviour without patching core. I could not tell from the README how stable the hook surface is.

- The README is mostly marketing: a request for stars, a donation link, and a tagline, with no architecture overview, no requirements, and no screenshots. Almost everything substantive lives on an external docs site, so the repo alone tells you little about whether it works for you.

- The scope is wide for one codebase. Mail, calendars, contacts, file storage, SSO and a management API in a single app means each area may get less attention than it would in a single-purpose tool. The directory listing was truncated and I did not see a test suite, so I cannot judge coverage.

- The open core sits next to commercial products. The README links to a hosted version (Kurrier.io, Kurrier Mail), a consulting page and a support link, so project priorities may follow the paid offering. The repo includes a TRADEMARK.md, which is worth reading before you fork or rebrand it.
