The home of all Matt's internal tooling
This is Matt Pocock's (Total TypeScript) personal monorepo of internal tooling: a video production pipeline (DaVinci Resolve automation, Remotion-based subtitle rendering, clip detection/transcription queues), a set of published TypeScript documentation utilities (twoslash-lint, twoslash-preview-server, twoslash-to-simple-markdown), and a Prisma/React Router app for managing his courses and written content. It's for developers curious how a solo content creator automates video editing and course production, or who want the twoslash packages specifically.
The twoslash-* packages are genuinely reusable and independently published via changesets/CI, useful to anyone type-checking code samples in docs. The Effect-TS usage is consistent enough to warrant its own Cursor rules and a Claude skill file (effect-config, effect-layers, effect-tagged-errors, effect-workflows), suggesting real patterns rather than toy code. The DaVinci Resolve + Remotion + queue-based clip pipeline (detect -> transcribe -> concat -> resolve timeline) is a legitimately uncommon automated video workflow to see in the open.
It says it plainly in the description: this is one person's internal tooling, hard-coded to his file paths, course structure, and DaVinci Resolve setup, not something you clone and run. The written-content-manager app carries dozens of tiny unsquashed Prisma migrations dating back to 2024, a sign it was never cleaned up for outside consumption. apps/_example-app is a bare stub, not real onboarding docs, so there's no guided path into any of this beyond reading source. The valuable, reusable pieces (twoslash tooling) are buried inside a much larger personal repo instead of standing on their own, so most of the star count is likely curiosity about the workflow rather than actual adoption.
