Window-level Cmd+Tab switcher for macOS built with Rust.

A macOS window-switcher that replaces Cmd+Tab's app-level switching with per-window switching, written in Rust with Objective-C bridging for AX/CoreGraphics APIs. Aimed at macOS power users annoyed by the OS's lack of per-window Alt-Tab, similar in spirit to witch or alt-tab-macos but Rust-based.

The CLI exposes a surprising amount of diagnostic surface (--list-windows, --raise-window, --tap-seconds, --capture-seconds) which makes debugging AX/input permission issues much easier than most menu-bar utilities that just silently fail. Clear separation between the permission-check-only probe commands and actual window-switching logic, so you can verify accessibility/input-monitoring grants work before trusting the real switcher. Having a dedicated diagnostics.md doc and treating permission failure as a first-class state (not an afterthought) shows the author actually dealt with macOS's painful TCC permission flow.

Zero stars/forks and a solo author means this is unproven outside one machine - no indication it's been tested across multiple macOS versions or multi-monitor/Spaces setups. The README admits candidate discovery via CoreGraphics+AX 'may omit apps or Spaces and does not provide MRU ordering,' meaning core window-switching behavior is known incomplete. Objective-C files (overlay.m, status_item.m, dock_badges.m) bridged into Rust via build.rs is a fragile pattern to maintain and debug - no description of how these interop boundaries are tested. No releases/binaries, so you have to build it yourself with a Rust+Xcode toolchain just to try it out.
