A macOS window switcher — an alternative to the system Cmd+Tab

A native macOS window switcher written in pure Rust with objc2 FFI, meant as a heavier alternative to Cmd+Tab, bundling thumbnail previews, clipboard history, and mouse control tweaks. Targets macOS power users, especially ones coming from Windows who miss Alt-Tab and Win+V, who don't mind granting Accessibility/Screen Recording permissions to a menu-bar app.

No Electron/Tauri runtime — it's calling AppKit/CoreGraphics/ApplicationServices directly, which is a genuinely unusual choice for this kind of UI-heavy app and keeps it lightweight. The README documents real edge cases they hit (blank WebView thumbnails, Telegram's floating viewer, non-shareable protected windows) rather than pretending they don't exist. Clipboard history has actually thought-through semantics around file vs image vs text paste behavior and dedup, plus a privacy note about disk persistence being off by default. Logging with rotation, session markers, and memory diagnostics shows attention to running this as a long-lived background daemon.

Single-developer project at 19 stars with a huge vendored Sparkle.framework binary checked into the repo, which bloats the clone and is unusual for pure Rust code. Apple Silicon-only, macOS 13+ — no Intel support, so a chunk of the existing Mac fleet is excluded. It relies on private WindowServer/SkyLight APIs for thumbnail capture, same category as AltTab/DockDoor, meaning it's one macOS update away from silent breakage with no public API fallback beyond icon-only mode. No CI badge or test coverage described beyond a few unit tests and manual smoke tests — for something juggling global event taps, AX permissions, and clipboard interception, that's a thin safety net for regressions.
