A flat archive of slide decks (mostly PDFs, some Keynote files) from talks Soumith Chintala gave between 2015 and 2019, largely about Torch and early PyTorch internals. Useful only if you want a primary-source history of PyTorch's design rationale straight from one of its creators, not as a tool or library.

The PyTorch-era decks (2017 NIPS, 2017 dynamic graphs talks, GTC 2018) are a decent primary source on why PyTorch chose eager execution and dynamic graphs over the static-graph approach TensorFlow had at the time. Folder-per-talk structure makes it trivial to grab a single deck without pulling the whole repo. No build system or dependencies to fight with — it's just files.

Last commit is from 2019, so there's nothing here past early PyTorch — no coverage of TorchScript, torch.compile, or anything from the last five years of the framework's evolution. Several files are .key (Keynote) format, unreadable without a Mac, with no PDF export provided for those. No README per talk explaining context or date beyond what's baked into the folder name, and no license file, so reuse of any slide content is technically unclear.
