Learn the building blocks for working with Stripe Issuing and Treasury APIs.

A set of Stripe-maintained Next.js/Prisma reference apps showing how to wire up Issuing and Treasury: one for embedded banking features inside a business dashboard, one for a pre-funded expense card program. It's for developers scoping a BaaS integration who want working, deployable code instead of isolated API snippets.

Each sample is a full running app with real Prisma migrations and Postgres setup scripts, not just curl examples, so you can actually see cardholders, authorizations, and financial account flows end to end. Having two separate use cases (embedded-finance vs expense-management) lets you compare how the same Issuing/Treasury primitives get assembled differently depending on the product. The _codegen directory suggests they're generating typed API bindings rather than hand-writing fetch calls, which is the right call for a Stripe-adjacent API surface that changes.

embedded-finance, expense-management, and _base share huge amounts of near-identical code (same components, same stripe-helpers.ts, same page structure) copy-pasted rather than factored into a shared package, so a fix in one doesn't propagate to the others. It's built on Next.js Pages Router with MUI and Prisma specifically, so if your stack differs you're translating patterns, not reusing code. Stripe explicitly calls out the bundled demo app as unrepresentative of a typical integration, which means a chunk of what's in this repo is guidance on what *not* to copy, not what to.
