WWDC Community: Learning and sharing together

A community-maintained README that indexes WWDC-week events, watch parties, post-WWDC meetups, developer discounts, and articles about new Apple APIs. It is a link list rather than software, so it is useful mainly if you want a map of the Swift community's activity during a given WWDC.

- The contribution rules are specific enough to apply mechanically: a fixed link format, new article links go at the bottom of their category, events go in chronological order, and paid products belong under Offers. That keeps a list with 20 maintainers and many outside PR authors from drifting.

- Past years are preserved by linking to each archived README at its commit SHA, not by maintaining a parallel file. The history stays fixed and costs nothing to keep.

- Events are grouped by region and sorted by date, and watch parties include the local time zone, so a reader can scan for their own city without converting times.

- It is a snapshot that goes stale fast. The last push was 26 June and today is 4 October, so every WWDC26 event listed has passed, and the discount codes are likely expired too. Nothing in the repo removes or archives past entries, so a visitor now lands on a page of dead links.

- There is no automation. The tree holds only the README, a code of conduct, and a PR template. Links are not checked, the formatting rules are not linted, and the ordering rules depend on whoever reviews the PR. With over 2,000 stars, that manual review is the bottleneck.

- Most of the event links point to third-party platforms (Luma, Eventbrite, Meetup, Feishu forms, Discord invites). When those listings are removed or change, the README has no fallback, and the 'check the times' note puts the verification burden on the reader.
