A basic gulp environment with autoprefixer and minifcation for designers to play around with
A Gulp 3 starter template aimed at designers who want Sass compilation, autoprefixing, BrowserSync, and basic linting without configuring it themselves. It's a circa-2016 workflow frozen in amber — LibSass, JSHint, and Gulp 3 are all deprecated or dead.
The feature set was sensible for its era: BrowserSync for live reload, gh-pages deploy baked in, image minification, and scss-lint all wired up in one gulpfile. The README is clear and beginner-friendly, explaining even basic terminal concepts without being condescending.
LibSass is officially abandoned; you'd be compiling Sass with a dead engine. Gulp 3 hit end-of-life and won't install cleanly on Node 18+. JSHint has been superseded by ESLint for years. The whole stack is essentially a time capsule from 2015 — anyone starting a project today would be better served by Vite or Parcel with zero config.
