A curated list about Audio Visualization.
A link-list repo (the 'awesome-X' format) cataloging audio visualization resources: Web Audio API libraries, Three.js/p5.js experiments, tutorials, books, and people to follow. It's aimed at front-end/creative coders who want to build music visualizers and need a jumping-off point, not a library or tool you install.
Good breadth across layers of the stack - low-level analysis libraries (meyda, web-audio-analyser, aubio), rendering libraries (Three.js, Pixi.js, wavesurfer.js), and finished reference implementations (Cava, audioMotion) are all represented, so you can find both 'what to build with' and 'what's achievable'. It's still getting real contributions (osci-render, DjMirror Pulse, the Nutilz waveform generator are recent additions), so it hasn't calcified like a lot of awesome-lists do. The TOC with anchor links makes it actually navigable instead of one long scroll.
Every entry is a single clause with no maintenance status - several library links (MIDI.js, Audiolet, coffee-collider) point at projects last touched years ago with no warning, so you'll waste time evaluating dead code. Nothing distinguishes web-only (Web Audio API) entries from native/desktop ones (Cinder, Go audio packages, Aubio's C bindings), they're all flattened into the same lists. A large share of the 'Experiments' section is personal portfolio demos and Codepens, which are exactly the kind of link most likely to 404 over a multi-year list like this, and there's no automated link-checking, just a Travis badge for whatever ci_script.sh does. There's no code in the repo to run or test; the entire deliverable is markdown curation, so the value is 100% dependent on how current the list stays.
