K2SOsint/Legendary_OSINT
A list of OSINT tools & resources for (fraud-)investigators, CTI-analysts, KYC, AML and more.
A link-list repo for OSINT practitioners (fraud investigators, CTI analysts, KYC/AML teams) split into 24 category files covering everything from vessel tracking to dark web search to SIGINT. It's a doorway to other people's tools, not a tool itself — there's no code here, just markdown and links.
Splitting into 24 separate docs/*.md files instead of one giant README actually makes it navigable, which most awesome-lists get wrong. The category breadth is unusually wide for this niche — railways, aviation movements, and maritime tracking sitting alongside the usual socmint/darkweb categories is genuinely useful if your work spans multiple investigation types. CC0 licensing means you can fork and repurpose the list without attribution headaches.
The README admits the list was assembled from newsletters, Telegram groups, and other curated startpages — it's an aggregation of aggregations, so expect heavy overlap with OSINT Framework and similar lists, and no first-hand vetting of what's still live or useful. There's no link-checking CI or bot, which matters a lot here: OSINT tool URLs rot fast (domains get seized, free tiers disappear, APIs get locked down), and nothing in the repo signals when an entry goes stale. You can't assess quality from the main README at all — every category is a click into a separate file with no inline notes on which tools are actually good versus just listed. 'Always vet and use responsibly' in the README is doing a lot of work papering over the fact that nothing here has been vetted by the maintainer.
