Unity Post Processing Stack Library | Unity引擎的高品质后处理库
A large grab-bag of Unity post-processing effects - dozens of blur variants, glitch/CRT-style effects, edge detection kernels, color grading and vignettes - built against the legacy Post Processing Stack v2. Useful for Unity devs who want a stylized visual effect (glitch, pixelate, old-TV vignette) without writing the shader from scratch, or for anyone learning screen-space shader techniques.
Each effect lives in its own self-contained folder (shader + C# wrapper), so you can lift a single effect into your project instead of importing the whole library. The breadth is genuinely useful as reference material - multiple implementations of the same technique (gaussian/box/kawase/dual-kawase blur, sobel/roberts/scharr edge detection) let you compare tradeoffs instead of hunting across separate repos. The linked blog posts walk through the math behind the blur and glitch algorithms rather than just dropping code.
It's built on Post Processing Stack v2, which Unity has deprecated in favor of the URP/HDRP volume framework - the README promises LWRP/URP/HDRP support is coming, but the repo hasn't been touched since July 2023, so that promise is dead. The repo commits a full demo scene with FBX models, textures and animation files (a bundled Nature Starter Kit), which bloats the clone for assets you can get elsewhere for free. There are no tests of any kind, so shader correctness depends entirely on eyeballing the example scene. Given it only targets a rendering pipeline Unity itself is phasing out, compatibility with current Unity versions is a real open question nobody's answered in two years.
