My diploma project. Network game on Unity3D game engine.
A 2014 university diploma project: a networked multiplayer wizard-battle game built in Unity3D. It's a one-off student submission, not a maintained game or reusable library, and has had no activity in over a decade.
Shows a full vertical slice of a networked game: player prefabs with a segmented ragdoll-style body rig, scripted spells (fireball, teleport, protective wall) with matching particle/VFX prefabs, and camera/menu scripting tying it together. Integrates the Detonator explosion/particle system and Unity Pro's post-processing image effects stack, so there's real reference value for someone studying how VFX prefabs are wired into gameplay scripts in an old-era Unity project.
The repo is a raw Unity project export, not source you can drop into a modern project: it includes generated IDE artifacts (.pidb, .csproj, .unityproj) committed directly, which rot immediately and have no business in version control. No README, no license, no build or setup instructions. It bundles third-party Unity Asset Store packages (Detonator, Standard Assets Pro effects) with no attribution or license clarity, which is a legal gray area for reuse. It targets a Unity version and networking API (pre-UNet, this predates even UNet) from over ten years ago, so none of the multiplayer code transfers to current Unity. Zero stars, zero forks, abandoned since 2014 — there is no community or maintenance behind it.
