Talks at conferences, meetups, hackathons, and more, plus my speaker rider for good measure.

A personal archive of Cassidy Williams' conference and meetup talk slides, stored as Deckset-flavored markdown with accompanying PDFs. It's a speaker's portfolio, not a reusable framework or tool — you're here to read the content, not run anything.

The speaker rider is the most practically useful thing here — it's a real, opinionated document that other speakers can learn from or adapt. The breadth of topics (accessibility, functional JS, CNNs, career advice, mechanical keyboards) reflects genuine range rather than a narrowly focused speaker. PDFs are included alongside the markdown, so slides are readable without Deckset. The repo has stayed active through 2026, which means it's not an abandoned snapshot.

The markdown files are written for Deckset specifically and look 'funky' everywhere else, as the README admits — there's no rendering pipeline or web viewer, so the actual slide content is awkward to read. Several talks are missing PDFs entirely, making them effectively inaccessible without the proprietary app. This is a personal archive, not a community resource — there's nothing to fork, adapt, or contribute to. The JavaScript language tag is technically accurate (one talk has a .js file) but misleading about what the repo actually contains.
