Stellaris 群星 汉化 Mod
A community-maintained Chinese localization mod for Stellaris, correcting and improving on Paradox's official Chinese translation. It's for Chinese-speaking Stellaris players who find the official localization inconsistent or awkward. cloudwu is the author of the Lua scripting language, so this is a notable side project.
Covers the full game including all DLC up through 4.2.2, which is a serious maintenance commitment given how often Paradox ships content. Includes a term glossary (term_list.txt) to enforce consistent terminology across contributors — exactly the right call for a translation project with multiple hands. Has a workflow doc for new contributors unfamiliar with GitHub, which lowers the barrier for non-developer translators. CC BY-SA license is appropriate and clearly stated.
No automated diff tooling visible in the repo to flag strings that changed in a Paradox update but haven't been retranslated yet — contributors have to catch this manually. The script directory presumably has error-checking tools but there's no CI running them, so broken YML syntax can sit undetected until someone loads the mod. Stars and forks are modest for what is essentially the canonical community CN translation of a popular game, suggesting the Steam Workshop subscription count is the real adoption metric and GitHub is just a filing cabinet.
