A beautiful, slim Android ProgressBar.
A single custom Android View that renders a horizontal progress bar with the percentage number drawn inside it. It's for developers doing classic View-based Android UI who want a drop-in progress indicator with a few preset color themes, not for anyone on Compose.
The implementation is one small, readable custom View class with straightforward onDraw/onMeasure logic — easy to fork and modify rather than fight with. Styling is exposed entirely through custom XML attributes (colors, heights, text visibility, offset) so most customization needs zero code. The eight preset styles cover the common color-coding use cases (success, warning, error) without extra setup.
Last commit is from 2020 — no AndroidX migration, no Kotlin, no Jetpack Compose equivalent, and it predates all the View system changes since. The Gradle/Maven install instructions point at JCenter, which shut down in 2022, so the documented dependency coordinates won't resolve without switching to JitPack yourself. There are no unit tests and no CI that still runs (Travis CI's free OSS tier is gone). Anyone adopting this today is really just borrowing the source of a single class rather than pulling in a maintained library.
