Jsonnet library for generating Grafana dashboards.

A Jsonnet library that generates Grafana dashboards, panels, and alerting resources from code. The builders are generated from the OpenAPI documents in grafana-foundation-sdk, so the surface follows Grafana's schema rather than a hand-maintained copy. It suits teams that keep dashboards in git and render them in CI.

- Generating from Grafana's OpenAPI schemas means the builder surface tracks Grafana releases. Hand-written extensions live in a separate custom/ tree rather than being mixed into the generated output.

- Coverage goes beyond dashboards. There are query helpers for Prometheus, Loki, Tempo, CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, Elasticsearch, Google Cloud Monitoring, and Pyroscope, plus alerting builders for contact points, notification policies, mute timings, and rule groups.

- Moving from grafonnet-lib's builder chaining to plain object construction is the right call. The README claims a real speedup when rendering many dashboards but gives no numbers.

- The per-builder API reference is generated into docs/API next to the code, so the docs describe what the library actually exposes.

- The README labels the library experimental, says it comes with no support or SLA, and says it is not meant for production. Teams generating production dashboards from it are taking that risk knowingly, so the label is a real caveat, not boilerplate.

- The install command points at @main, not a tag, so a jb update can pull in a regeneration that silently changes your output. Pin a commit in jsonnetfile.json or an upstream schema change will break your build without warning.

- Bugs in the generated code cannot be fixed in this repo. The fix belongs in grafana-foundation-sdk followed by a regeneration, so a PR against the generated tree will be overwritten.

- The README admits the C jsonnet implementation is significantly slow on this library and points to go-jsonnet. Anyone running the usage snippet with a stock jsonnet binary gets the slow path.
