MySQL入门教程(MySQL tutorial book)
A Chinese-language MySQL tutorial in book form, written by a front-end developer who learned MySQL on the job and says so openly. It covers database fundamentals, installation, SQL queries, indexes, stored procedures, views, triggers, user permissions, backups, logs and performance tuning, with a linked list of GUI clients, backup tools and official docs. It suits beginners who read Chinese and want one place to start.
- The chapter order follows a sensible learning path, and the README links every section by anchor, so a reader can jump straight to something like the binary log restore or the index design rules.
- Chapters 15 (binary, error, general query and slow query logs) and 16 (query analysis with EXPLAIN-style reasoning, schema denormalisation, server parameters) cover operational topics that most beginner tutorials skip, and those are the topics that matter once you run a real server.
- The companion awesome-mysql.md catalogues GUI clients, analysis and backup tools, and official material, so the tutorial doubles as a starting point for tooling decisions.
- The README says outright that the author is not a DBA and asks for corrections through PRs and issues. That keeps expectations realistic and invites the review the content needs.
- Every SQL example is pinned to MySQL 5.7.14 or 5.7.16. MySQL 5.7 reached end of life in October 2023, and the CentOS 7 install section is built around a platform that is also out of support. The book also covers 8.x features, so readers will hit syntax and default differences without warning.
- The README says the unfinished sections were filled in with GPT-5.4 (dated 2026/03), but it does not say which sections. A reader cannot tell which explanations were checked against a running server and which are generated text.
- Outside examples/create-table.sql, the SQL in the chapters is not backed by any visible runnable test set, so a wrong statement or output can stay in the book unnoticed.
- The top of the page is a long block of promotional app links before any content begins, and the whole thing is in Chinese, which limits its audience beyond Chinese readers.
