The Terraform plugin for the Dominos Pizza provider.

A novelty Terraform provider that lets you define a Domino's Pizza order as a resource block and `terraform apply` an actual pizza to your door. It's built as a real provider with data sources for address geocoding, store lookup, and menu search, not just a gag script. Useful for anyone who wants a laugh or a talk demo about what the provider model can be abused into, not for anything resembling production infra work.

The data source chaining is genuinely well thought out — address lookup feeds store lookup feeds menu search feeds order placement, which is the same dependency-graph pattern real providers use. It implements the full Domino's ordering API flow (address validation, store selection, menu querying) rather than hardcoding a single pizza. The joke lands because the code underneath is a legitimate, if minimal, Go provider using the standard Terraform SDK conventions of the time.

Credit card number, CVV, and expiration are passed as plaintext HCL attributes with no mention of state file encryption — anyone using this for real is putting card data straight into terraform.tfstate unencrypted. The compiled binary is checked into the repo (bin/terraform-provider-dominos) instead of built via CI/release pipeline, so you're running someone else's unverified binary if you follow the install instructions literally. No tests, no CHANGELOG, and no activity since May 2024 on a provider tied to an external API that can silently break the moment Domino's changes their ordering flow. It also predates the Terraform Plugin Framework, so it's stuck on deprecated SDK v1 patterns if anyone ever wanted to actually maintain it.
