AGR2280 is a Wipeout fangame which attempts to reproduce the Wipeout HD physics using the Unity game engine. Unity Pro is being used so it's reccomended that you have Unity Pro if you want to use this project (Unity free will suffice perfectly fine though).

A Wipeout fangame built in Unity that tries to recreate Wipeout HD's anti-gravity ship physics. It's for Wipeout nostalgics who want to poke at someone else's attempt at that specific physics model in Unity, not for anyone looking for a usable game or engine.

The ship physics and track code is split out sensibly (ShipController, AirbrakeRotation, ShipChaseCam, RaceGate/RaceNode for checkpoints), suggesting real effort went into the flight model rather than just importing an asset pack. There's also a custom in-editor Track Editor (TEEditing, TEGUI, custom placer tools for pads and doodads) built as Unity editor extensions, which is more tooling than most fan projects bother with.

Dead since 2014 and was already described by the author as 'a very early open source version' with 'very little content,' so what's here is a skeleton, not a game. Compiled binaries and DLLs (AGR2280.exe, Assembly-CSharp.dll, FMODUnity.dll, baked .assets files) are committed straight into the repo instead of being gitignored, which bloats clones for no reason. It recommends Unity Pro, a paid tier that hasn't existed as a separate product in years, so the setup instructions are already stale. No license file anywhere, so legally nobody can actually build on this despite the README's invitation to.
