Prototype of 'Project Ember' in Unity3D game engine
A 2013 Unity3D sample demonstrating third-person camera control and Mecanim animation blending, built on Unity's own Standard Assets tutorial characters. It's a learning scaffold, not a usable library or template for shipping a game.
The camera and controller logic is isolated into a handful of readable scripts (ThirdPersonCamera.cs, CharacterControllerLogic.cs) rather than buried in a monolithic player script, so the core idea is easy to trace. It pairs cleanly with Unity's Mecanim locomotion animations (walk/jog/run/sprint with turn blends), which is a reasonable reference for anyone learning animator blend trees.
Dead project: last push was 2013, zero stars, zero forks, no commits since — targets a Unity version roughly 12 years old with no guarantee the project even opens in a current editor. The README is a single line with no setup instructions, controls, or explanation of what 'Project Ember' is supposed to become. The repo is mostly committed binary Unity assets (fbx, psd, pidb files) rather than code, so there's little to actually read or reuse, and the compiled .pidb debug files shouldn't be in source control at all.
