A simple Jekyll Template Card Based.

A minimalist card-based Jekyll blog theme with a Gulp/Stylus build pipeline, built by one developer for his personal blog and then open-sourced. It's for someone who wants a simple, fast-loading Jekyll blog and doesn't mind a dated toolchain, but the author flags it as unmaintained right at the top of the README.

Genuinely lightweight output with no JS framework overhead, and it ships the stuff people actually want from a blog theme out of the box: tags page, series page, RSS feed, sitemap.xml, and client-side search via simpleJekyllSearch. The initpost.sh scaffolding script for new posts is a nice touch that saves you from hand-writing front matter every time.

Last pushed in 2020 and explicitly marked not maintained, so expect friction getting Gulp, Stylus, and old Node tooling to install cleanly on a current machine. No CI, no tests, nothing verifying the build still works against modern Jekyll or Ruby versions. The README itself has leftover Portuguese example content and lorem-ipsum placeholders mixed with the English docs, so you'll spend real time just cleaning up config and copy before this is usable.
