Materials for my Pluralsight course: Angular Reactive Forms.

Companion code for DeborahK's Pluralsight course on Angular reactive forms. It has a starter and a finished copy of a small customer form, plus a larger product CRUD app (APM) that applies the same techniques inside routing and a list, detail, and edit flow. It is aimed at developers learning reactive forms on Angular 12 or earlier.

Demo-Start and Demo-Final are the same form before and after the lesson, so the diff between them is the teaching material, which is more useful than a finished app with no before state. The APM app has shared/generic-validator.ts for keeping validation messages out of templates and a custom number.validator.ts, which are the two pieces most people end up writing on a real form. product-edit.guard.ts puts a route guard on the edit page, so the forms-plus-routing case is covered and not only the standalone form.

The last push was September 2022 and the code targets Angular 12, so it predates the typed reactive forms that arrived in Angular 14 and the move to standalone components. The README's claim that Angular forms are 'not very strongly typed' does not hold for current versions. The tree contains six near-identical copies of the app (Demo-Start, Demo-Final, APM, and their v12 variants), so any fix has to be repeated in each, and the README is the only guide to which copy is current. The e2e folders use Protractor, which Angular has since dropped from new projects, so those setups need rewriting before they run.
