Sample Angular application that uses RxJS for reactive development. Find the associated Pluralsight course here: https://app.pluralsight.com/library/courses/rxjs-angular-reactive-development
A companion repo for the Pluralsight RxJS and Angular course, with three separate copies of one product-catalog app: APM-Start for coding along, APM-Final for the finished version, and APM-WithExtras for patterns the course leaves out. It suits developers who know Angular basics and want to see RxJS applied to real component state rather than isolated examples.
Start and Final are the same app at two points in time, so diffing the two folders shows exactly what each RxJS change touches. The WithExtras folder covers material the course skips: a cart with cart-shell and cart-total components sharing state, an edit flow with its own service, and separate refresh and reget list components that show two different ways to re-fetch data. The product-list-alt folder splits the page into shell, list, and detail components, a container and presentational split that makes the data flow easy to trace.
The last push was April 2023, and the file layout (polyfills.ts, test.ts, an NgModule-based app.module.ts) matches older Angular CLI output, so expect to translate it before reusing it in a current project. Across all three apps there is only one spec file (product-list-reget.component.spec.ts in WithExtras), so this repo says little about how to test RxJS streams. Three separate copies of the app mean every fix or upgrade has to be made three times, and the README gives no guidance beyond one line per folder. Most of the explanation lives outside the repo, in a Pluralsight course behind a paywall and a StackBlitz fork for the extras.
