Uses open62541, which is the real, actively maintained open-source OPC UA SDK, so the underlying protocol handling isn't homegrown or sketchy. The scope is narrow and the Qt project file suggests it builds as a straightforward desktop app rather than something with a sprawling dependency graph.
Vendors a prebuilt open62541.dll and .lib directly in the repo instead of building from source or pulling via a package manager, so you have no idea what version or build flags produced them and can't audit or update the binary. Everything lives in a single main.cpp with no README, no build instructions, no license, and no tests, so there's nothing here to learn from beyond copy-pasting the file. Zero stars, two forks, and no commits since January 2018 — this is dead and was never really used by anyone beyond the author.
