// the take

A Chinese-translated copy of the source code from Josiah Carlson's 'Redis in Action' book — same chapter-by-chapter listings (ch01 through chA), with comments translated from English to Chinese. For Chinese-speaking developers working through that book who don't want to read English code comments.

- Preserves the original book's structure exactly, so it's easy to follow alongside the English edition or the original repo

- The translation lowers the barrier for Chinese readers learning Redis data structure patterns (locking, autocomplete, caching, pub/sub) through worked examples

- It's a derivative translation of someone else's teaching code, not an independent project — no original design or engineering decisions to evaluate

- Dead since 2017: Python 2-era idioms throughout, no updates for redis-py API changes since, and several listings will fail against modern redis-py without fixes

- No tests, no packaging, nothing to install — it's book-companion code meant to be read and typed along with the book, not used as a library

- If you don't already own 'Redis in Action,' the code has little context; the comments explain syntax, not the reasoning the book provides
