:speech_balloon: A curated list of gaming talks (development, design, etc)

A static list of game development and design talks spanning 1998–2015, primarily sourced from GDC, TED, and YouTube. It's a starting point for anyone who wants to watch industry veterans talk about game design, not a structured learning resource.

Good signal-to-noise on the GDC section — the picks lean toward design craft talks (Jonathan Blow, Jenova Chen, Ken Levine) rather than marketing fluff. The year tagging lets you filter by era. The GDC.md split for free talks is genuinely useful since GDC Vault paywalls most content.

Last updated in 2015 — a decade of GDC talks, postmortems, and the entire GDC YouTube channel explosion are missing. No descriptions on any entry so you're clicking blind unless you already know the speaker. Many GDC Vault links are dead or now paywalled with no fallback. The podcast section looks abandoned mid-thought and adds little value.
