Collection of links on Java - tech talks/ sites/ advanced topics

A link dump of Java tech talks, tutorials, and books, organized by topic (concurrency, Spring, JPA, GC, etc.). It's a passive reading list for Java developers who want to go deeper on the JVM or core Java topics, not a guide or structured curriculum.

The concurrency section is the strongest part — it surfaces talks from Doug Lea, Brian Goetz, and Heinz Kabutz that are genuinely worth watching and hard to find without knowing to look for them. The memory management section similarly aggregates solid low-level JVM content in one place. Topic coverage is broad without being superficial, and the book list reflects real choices rather than just Amazon bestsellers.

The repo hasn't been touched since early 2023 and much of the content skews toward Java 8 and earlier — nothing on records, sealed classes, virtual threads, or the newer GC algorithms like ZGC and Shenandoah. Several YouTube links in a list this old will be dead or geo-blocked. There's no curation signal at all: a beginner-level edureka playlist sits next to a Doug Lea talk with no indication of which is worth your time. It's a bookmark export, not a recommendation.
