A curated list of awesome Swift Macros

// the take

This is an awesome-list-style collection of links to Swift Macro resources: frameworks, community-built macros, WWDC talks, and blog posts, organized by use case (SwiftUI, models, DI, testing, networking, enums). It's for Swift/iOS developers who want to see what's available in the Macros ecosystem since Swift 5.9 without hunting GitHub topics themselves.

Organized by practical category rather than alphabetically, so you can jump straight to, say, DI or testing macros instead of scanning a flat list. It surfaces genuinely useful tooling like pointfreeco's swift-macro-testing and the Swift AST Explorer, which materially lower the pain of writing a macro. It mixes learning material (official docs, WWDC sessions) with the third-party macro directory, so it works both for someone building a macro and someone just shopping for one.

There's no vetting of the linked projects for maintenance status, license, or real-world adoption — dozens of single-maintainer libraries sit next to each other with no signal on which are actually used in production versus abandoned after one release. The list decays by nature: every entry points off-repo, and nothing here indicates when links were last checked for dead URLs or deprecated packages. As an aggregator it has zero implementation of its own; its only value is as a directory, and that value evaporates the moment someone builds a better-maintained equivalent or Apple folds the common patterns into the standard library.

We read the README, the directory tree and a key source file in October 2026. Nobody pays to be listed. How we judge →
